Hey, I am wondering if anyone knows the setback measurement for the extra setback post that PMP offers. I am looking for 20-25 mm, but noticed that their standard post has less thn 15mm (like a Thomson).

Thanks,

Jeff

I have a PMP and think it is the extra SB (I bought it used and it was represented as having extra SB and seems to have it). I'm happy to measure for you, but you must be specific as to how you want it measured. Putting saddle tilt aside and how that affects SB numbers through simple geometry, there is no industry standard for how SB is measured. While the distance from the center axis of seatpost to center of clamp is frequently used, the measurements of the clamp itself will be relevant (depending on its center to front measurement, your saddle will sit more or less back). If you do communicate with PMP via their website, be very specific. Best of all would be a drawing or graphic showing what is measured and the numbers.
