Any suggestions for a 40-50 loop starting from Bolton Landing (Sagamore)? I was thinking heading toward Ti would be good. I'm familiar with the roads, but not intimately, in the cycling sense :) I'll have around 3 hours to ride. Any suggestions from you Capital District'ers / S. ADK'ers?

TIA

The Sagamore is so nice, I would leave by bike at home.

sorry, no help.

Anything along Lake George (excpet the village) should be nice. I think 9N goes by where you will be. There is another road, it may be too far north, route 8, which goes along Brant Lake and that is very nice.

Otherwise, cut west on Diamond Point Road or Bolton Landing-Riverbank Road and ride along schroon river road. I have not done that myself, but I would imagine it should be pretty good.

and use those three hours to take the shuttle up to the Club Grill for a nice leisurely meal. I've spent a couple of days at the Sagamore for 4 of the past 5 summers. There are a lot of hills and little or no shoulders on the parts of 9N that I've driven on.
