Being born and raised in Pennsylvania, I always thought it would be a great state for a good stage race. :)

"With a $250,000 purse -- the largest in the world for the class -- and a challenging route, the race is expected to draw a large international following, organizers said."

Whoah Nelly! Route 30 will need some pothole maintenance prior to the ride, but this sounds exciting. My wife already bid farewell to me for that week.

Perhaps Don "Tartan" Walker (Texas Ranger to you tenderfoot) and the NAHBS will now listen to our pleas (begging) and consider Pittsburgh for an upcoming show?

This will be great!! I just wish it came a little closer to me, but still alot closer then Cali, or Georgia.

$250k seems like a lot for a race like this, I'm sure it will attract some good competition!!

What was the total at ToC or ToG?

Born and raised in Pittsburgh (Castle Shannon) and lots of relatives still in the surrounding areas to visit. Wow...a race like this...who would have believed it.
