Verrrrry cool - 253MPH, faster than Indy, F1, Nascar - everything but top fuel drag and funny cars - and in a car anyone with the money (lots of it) can buy and drive on the road.

I love Top Gear - too bad it got canceled in the US.

We actually had the chance see two of these pass us when we were riding in OTTROTT with Ben, Cathy, Russ and the gang last summer.

They passed us going up the winding road in the foot hills. WHAT A SITE AND WHAT A SOUND!!!

It certainly makes the price of a Meivici with some bling seem fairly minor in comparison.

The 60 miles of test track with perfect road conditions sounds like it's worth making friends with the VW folks to get some riding time there.

This car is an engineering materpiece!! I just found it amazing that it only took 270 bhp to do 150mph, and 730 bhp to go up to 253.........that's a lot of power to have to overcome wind resistance. Absolutely amazing!!

I really like all of the Top Gear movies, I've got tons of them, save on my external HD. Crazy brits!

Not so fast. Things really didn't work out as I thought they would. I couldn't afford the payments on both cars. I had to sell my mansion. Now I live in one of the cars and drive the other! :rolleyes: :)
