View Full Version : Murray Olympic bikes built by Serotta?

I was in a shop in Houston this past week and happened across two interesting bikes that look like they might have some history to them.

Both were supposedly designed for the 1984 Olympics, built by Serotta, and labeled as Murrays. Each uses Columbus aero-shaped tubing (including seat posts that were built for the tube set).

One of them is a track bike built for 24" wheels and can be seen here:

The other is a TT bike that utilizes a 700c rear and 24" front. The fork in the pictures isn’t the correct fork and was added to use a 650c front wheel. The bike can bee seen at:

Does anyone know anything about these bikes? They look really unique.
