Does anyone have experience with Carbon Solutions Repair (http://www.carbonsolutionsrepair.com/) in Watsonville, CA? I don’t need carbon repair, but would like to have a CF frame painted.
Any other shops in the Bay Area I should consider?

Ed Litton is still painting (and building frames).

Check out D&D cycles in San Lorenzo

They are old school without much internet presence but are reviewed on Yelp

Haven't used them personally, but I recall hearing that they were some guys who used to work for Calfee, and do some paint for Rock Lobster. From what I have seen, their work is good, but not sure about their customer experience.

Joe is stand up guy and I think does a great job with paint. I’ve had him touch up a few nicks and scrapes on my bikes with excellent results. Pricing has always been very reasonable.

He also does great work in carbon repair. He’s fixed a number of junior team bikes and you’d never know.

Walk in his shop and you’ll see the bikes entrusted to him. Colnagos, Pinarellos, Spesh, SantaCruz. He’s the real deal.

I have custom painted bikes from both Joe (CS) and Rick at D&D - he painted for Ritchey and Rivendell. They're both great, but if you can make the drive down, CS is a bit more affordable. I've also used Dark Matter in Colorado, who is excellent, but the local guys all do a great job too.

The paint on my 11 year old Calfee tandem still looks great.
