My 2002 Legend has a 1 1/8 headtube ...

So the change predates 2002, or perhaps 2002 is the first year.

My June 2000 Legend has a 1 1/8th headtube. At that time, Serotta did not offer their own fork as they did not have one to fit it. So, I am thinking I had one of the earlier ones?

2000 is probably about right given that the F-2 fork wasn't available yet. Thanks:banana:

It was around 2000. THe "Founder's Edition" OTTROTT had it. SPOKES has it on his. I would say late 2000. (although you could still have a 2001 with a one inch.

I think my legend is a 2001 - it was Too Tall's (well - the queen...) and has a 1" steerer. Josh????

Had an April 2001 Legend Ti. I could have gotten a 1-1/8" headtube for a non-Serotta fork, but only the F1 (1-inch) fork was available from Serotta at that point.

Pretty much ditto the above... Ordered a January 2001 Legend Ti Compact - chose 1" HT for F1 fork, could have selected 1-1/8" for an aftermarket fork.

The First Legend Ti (they called it just Ti in the 1996 catalogue) was 1996. The 1999 catalogue it was called a Legend Ti and was offered with a 1" threaded F1 carbon fork. The 1998 Catalogue didn't say much about the actual models.
