Frame finish options?

A quick question about bare ti tube surface finish options and their long term 'implications' (relative usage). As I understand it there are three unpainted options;

matte
brushed
polished

Are there in fact distinct brushed and polished options in addition to the matte?

Is it possible at a later date to paint each of these surface finishes?

matte (dull finish)
brushed (polished)
polished (mirror, like lightspeed not offered)

Are there in fact distinct brushed and polished options in addition to the matte? (see above...some folks have the lettering in the opposite natural ti either brushed or matte)

Is it possible at a later date to paint each of these surface finishes? (YES it can be painted later BUT if painted it can not be brought back to brush)

See other postings and there are even some pictures. IN the 07 catalog of touring model that is MATTE/

Yes, two options ....

But with a mild metal polish, one can take the Brushed to a chrome like
appearance.
