Hi all,
Does anyone know if the Tiime RXS cleats are truly compatible with the older Impact pedals? Competitive Cyclist says they are (at least the cafe cleats), but I was wondering if anyone had experience with this. Other websites say they won't work...
I need to pick up a new pair of pedals, and I keep coming back to the price of the impacts, but at some point I fear I'd have to switch to the RXS anyway, so maybe now's the time.

Thanks.

I am using RXS cleats with Impact pedals....and have been for two years. They have been completely compatible. My understanding is that you cannot use Impact cleats with RXS pedals, though.

they work. like ssp i have been using different bikes w/ both impacts and new pedals for 2 seasons. work fine.

they were designed to work as the old impact cleats are no longer available.

SSpielman is correct. The only difference is that Time reengineered the Impact cleats to make them compatible with the RXS pedal. Look for the Impact cleats with the "shoulders" around the front hook.
