Anyone know how much of an effect on the actual head tube angle on a frame from using a fork with an axle to crown length 4mm greater than it was designed for?
I am just trying to gauge what might happen to the steering response if I change forks.
Will it be negligible or something worth noting?

That's brilliant! Thanks Louis.

Sheldon Brown Knows All (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/rinard/forklengths.htm)Louis, is the formula exact, or an approximation?

RPS,
I haven't done that actual math. I've derived the equation for trail (which a available any number of places), but haven't bothered to do this one.
Maybe once I've wrapped up my taxes...

LouisOn the surface it seems like it's missing a term.
