What color bar tape?

I finally got around to building my 98 legend. So far it looks great but I am trying to figure out what color tape to go with. The saddle is a b-17 in honey and I am not sure if I should match it with leather or go with white, black or blue... Any opinions?

Either Cinelli cork in natural or matching leather.

2nd the Velo Orange elkhide bar covers. I had them on the Tournesol and they proved to be comfy, provide an excellent grip and will get you more tail than Sinatra!

Try the Serotta handlebar tape.
I think it adheres to the bar really well and does not shift around
over a period of time.
I think it is the best that I have ever used. Lasts a long time.

Either that VO elkhide or the Fujitoshi leather wrap (jitensha.com) in brown to match the saddle. Serotta tape on a Serotta: now that sounds like a good idea too.

A fine -looking rig. I like this shade of blue alot.

-1. Bought white Serotta tape at last open house and it tore when wrapping the top of the bar. :crap: There were several voids (air bubbles during manufacture) when looking at the back of the tape. Replaced with Fizik chalk white. Good luck. :beer:

I like the VO stuff and will most likely go with that.

I looked at the Serotta and I don't want to go with cork tape. I understand it to be nice just not what I was looking for.

I wish the sella azzura eleganza and/or the fizik microtex came in a brown that matched the honey saddle.
