My New Ottrott ST is (hopefully) coming soon and I am having trouble deciding upon a color for bottle cages. The bike will essentially look like this:

http://forums.thepaceline.net/showpost.php?p=297278&postcount=114, except the seat tube, chainstays and extended seat stay and tt lug will be polished ti. Decals on the DT and seat stays will be black and on the chain stays and seat tube they will be white with a black outline.

If I can find my saddle of choice (Selle Italia Gel Flow) in white, the bar tape and saddle will be white. Stem will be Easton or Oval in balck and post will be an Easton EC70 carbon.

The choices that stick out for the bottle cages are white, black or silver. Any suggestions, preferences or tips will be appreciated!

The TT will be sloped!

I have those on my Hors, they're nice--I might try them on the Ottrott when it gets here. Good thought.

imo, if you're using a colored plastic cage, match it to the color of the tube your affixing it to. I don't think a bottlecage is anything to overthink or "accessorize" (especially on a $6k frame). just imo.

good luck, post some pics when you're done.

There's rub..the seat tube is polished ti and the down tube is white with lack lettering.

PB's white (silver?) carbon seems very interesting.

In the end, I just have to get the frame and strap on some cages and take a gander.

King Ti ....

They are super light and the grip is tenacious. They like to flex too ....
which can't be said of the competitors.
