My knee is starting it's act early this year. I have been chasing this for about four years with various Orthos and P.Ts. Any suggestions on a Ortho that is a serious cyclist and will spend more than five minutes with me during an appointment.
Thanks,
duke

I highly recommend Dr. John Boyle (http://yp.yahoo.com/py/ypMap.py?Pyt=Typ&tuid=29068434&ck=2554921851&tab=B2C&tcat=8110048&city=Danvers&state=MA&uzip=01923&country=us&msa=1120&cs=4&ed=Glh4a61o2Ty8H3gcF0wlW5WMlhk2Rh7zLsENFSVaKNA1&stat=:pos:2:regular:regT:14:fbT:0) in Danvers, MA. He is an ultra endurance athlete himself and works on many local pro athletes. He did my knee about 10 years ago; I was on the stationary bike the next day.

Best knee guy around, decent cyclist, and generally good guy is Dr. Ira Evans at Sports Medicine North in Peabody.

So have you seen anyone before? What did they say?
Thanks

I hit a car about 4 years ago a tore the meniscus. It was scoped at the time but riding more than about 100 miles a week causes pain on the inside lower kneecap. It has been diagnosed as a mechanical issue that is causing the tendinitis but I have been unable to find the right person to straighten out the mechanical problem. 3 bike fittings with three different opinions and another Ortho that told me I should find something to do besides riding a bike.....Not the answer I'm looking for. I am thinking of packing the whole project up and going to see Dr. A. Pruitt. Sure would like to solve the problem closer to home if possible.
