Product Recall: Shimano is warning that its SM-SH92
aftermarket road cleats could fail to release from
pedals if a tab at the rear breaks due to prolonged use.
The SM-SH92 cleats have 10 degrees of float and were
sold after 1999 for use with SPD-R pedals. The pedals
originally came with SM-SH91 cleats, which had 6
degrees of float and are not affected by the recall.
Shimano is replacing the problem cleats at no charge.
