I'm asking for a friend -- would be grateful if anyone can recommend a good bike shop in the vicinity of New Brunswick, New Jersey (i.e., one with a good fitting service).

Thanks in advance. :)

THis is a ways from you friend BUT you will not find a better shop than CYCLESPORT or a better fitter than Mike Grotz. My buddy from NC - drove up there for dinner and a fitting for an OTTROTT. Great folks and extrementy reputable.

It is at cyclesportonline.com and 201-391-5269. If Mike is not there talked to DEAN....Tell then Pete from NC said hi...

THe folks on the forum will tell you I am very biased toward SEROTTA and CYCLESPORT....Been buying from both for over 20 years.......

Knapp's in Lawernceville, just north of Trenton is only a short jaunt down the road from NB. Good shop that does a good job.

Another excellent store that is closer than Cyclesport is High Gear in Stirling.

Another vote for Knapps in Lawrenceville. They're a Serotta dealer with a very good stock of accessories to boot.

The Bike Stand in Scotch Plains is the best shop I have found locally.
