Remember the last phony Serotta fork, the one with the drop outs glued in by a mechanic with 30 years experience? Is this another pseudo Serotta fork?http://cgi.ebay.com/Serotta-F2-Carbon-Fork-1-1-8-x-43mm-rake-NEW-NR_W0QQitemZ250100377747QQcategoryZ56196QQssPageNa meZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Didn't the F2 come with titanium drop outs and a Serotta branded top plug? Hmm.

looks like a normal Ouzo Pro fork to me..did not see anything stating it was an F2 fork, not sure but i don't think the F2 had Ti dropouts?...the fork in that auction appears to be on the up & up atmo

I think he meant this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/Serotta-F2-Carbon-Fork-1-1-8-x-43mm-rake-NEW-NR_W0QQitemZ250100377747QQcategoryZ56196QQssPageNa meZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). Same seller.

I have no clue what so ever if it's a fake.

Sorry, I posted the wrong link. I've edited my original post to show the correct link.

The F2 forks I've owned have had Ti drop outs and the Serotta catalog says so too. They were pretty proud of them.

click on that sellers other items--the F2 is there. i have no idea if it is legit though- my serotta is from 1993. and my classique does not have a sertotta fork on it now.

rather than "Ti"
if it was a US mint coin it might be worth mucho

The IT moniker was coined when Serotta introduced the Ottrott. IT= Integrated Technologies, which celebrated the successful marriage of Ti and Carbon. The IT decal was featured on the Ottrott and on the F2 forks because they used both Ti and carbon.

does it still have the iT then?
a small thing, but it would annoy me to have "it" on there.

I agree with JIMCAV. I would be thinking of Cousin "It".

It did have Ti dropouts. I know as I have an F2 on my CSI.

The auction is obviously not correct.
