Eurus vs Neutron vs custom record wheelset

I am wondering whether anyone has experience with differences between Campy Eurus, Campy Neutron, and record hubs laced with DT Swiss RR 1.1 or Mavic Open Pro by good builders like our own Ergott or Joe Young. The cost of these wheelsets would be very similar, but how are they different in climbing vs comfort vs responsiveness etc? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

If you search the archives, you will find many, many, many posts on this topic. Some people here swear by Campy factory wheels -- Neutrons in particular have a very loyal following -- while others love handbuilts. Several people have both. My own 2 cents is that if you're going to tour or do long rides regularly, higher spoke-count handbuilts that can be repaired in any shop may help you get back home with a broken spoke. But Campy wheels are tough, so YMMV.
