Spring is Officially Here

Today I feel good because for the first time in 2007 I a morning pre-work ride in. Only 10 miles, but oh so glorious. So as far as I'm concerned, spring is now here.

It has definately hit Louisville. Grass is getting cut, springs flowers are up, and the weather has been in the 70/80's for a week now. Actually came back sweating from my lunch ride today.

Rode to work the past 2 days without my freakish huge winter mitts! That's progress.

Yesterday my wife dug the remaining snow off her daffodils and tulips. Poor things had started growing but were all twisted up and crooked growing into the frozen snowpack.

On the bright side we won't be mowing up here for at least another month!

It has been beautiful....today we gave my daughter her first real bike! She loved it. Ahhhhhhh spring.
