there was an aluminum rim in there too.
I don't want this to turn into a CF bashing/CF supporting thread. I just thought about how bad it would suck to break a crank mid-sprint.

I hear you. I wasn't trying too...just stating my own personal feeling.
Losing a chain in a sprint is bad enough...I don't want to imagine losing a crank arm and the height of the melee. :eek:

what happened there? roof rack under low bridge?
If I'm not mistaken, the time and stronlight cranks broke while pedaling. One can search weight weenies for more info.

my guess is a roof rack, since if looks like the bars where yanked back,
not forward. I wonder what story he gave his riding buddies about
what happened to his bike?! ouch.
