Oh my gosh Cees, that is one heck of a huge hill. Aren't there any flat rides? ;)

PS - See you in ADA.

You must love diving into those banked corners. I'd be looking for a cliff to go over!

Cool photos! Love the bike path, the windmills and the overall scenery.

How's the spring progressing? How far along are the tulips? Lat year they were blooming perfectly for my visit in late April, but I fear this year it's warmer and the tulips will be all done by late April -- what do you think?

Hey, I've been on that very path. And as Cees says, you can ride that path non-stop for 160 km. The steady winds function as virtual mountains.

Here's a photo of a wind farm not far from Cees' house.

Mountains are easy compared to that wind, because they end!

Everyone who loves cycling should go there. . . To see a country where the bike is king is a life-altering experience.

That reminds of some time spent in Denmark. Bicycle paths everywhere you would want to go (in the countryside and in the city), beautiful green rolling hills, forested areas, windmills..etc. I rode my bike everywhere and and rarely drove a car - pure bliss!!

The only bad memory was having my nice black single speed stolen from the train station in Naestved (u-lock cut in half). I miss that bike!

Wind + tulips.

Hopefully that guy doesn't kill too many tulips trying to get the ball back onto the fairway...

Thanks for the info Cees and Zeroking. Makes me excited to plan my trip! I'll probably be too late for the tulips this year, but there are other things to see and do. When the time draws closer, I will probably need more advice, so stay tuned.
