As heard on the street: *new bicycle tubset

This is a true conversation I had with an unknown rider yesterday. He was admiring my Spectrum race bike and the conversation went something like this:

"Wow, that's a really really nice bike you have there"
"thanks"
"Who makes that"
"Spectrum bikes"
"What is it made of"
"Titanium"
"Never heard of that"
"Uh, it's made of Titanium...same stuff they use to make warplanes"
"Nah, never heard of it is it made of Titanium because I've never heard of Spectanium...what is that?".
"NO NOT SPECTANIUM there is no such thing it's Titanium spelled Tee eye Tee...(I could go one but you get the drift)
"Ohhhhhh, I see it's a titanium bike cool. Is it custom?"

OK at this point I had to stop and laugh myself until it hurt some.

So there you have it, that irrepresible genius Tom Kellog has done it again standing the bicycling industry on it's head with the uber special "SPECTANIUM". Pls. be sure to ask for it by name.

Actually, the next 'real' frame material is Unobtaniuim. It's butted with beryllium and brazed with platinum. However, you can't buy one and we can't tell you where they're made or we'd have to kill you.
