I know. Who cares about bar ends?

I used to run Velox bar ends. They are functional, cheap and they just work. But, they are ugly. (Is vanity one of the 7 deadly sins?)

Right now I have Hope "Grip Doctors" in silver.

I was wondering what other classy bar ends are out there.

Also, which is cooler? Route cables front and rear, or just both up front? I've always done both up front because my bars were single groove but my new bars have dual grooves. Your vote is appreciated and any explanation would really be cool.

Rivendell makes reflective bar-end plugs (http://www.rivbike.com/webalog/handlebars_stems_tape/16115.html) . Seems like an easy way to gain some visibility, with hardly any effort or expense.

The voting on cable routing is tied. Does anyone have any particular reason to choose one over the other? Which is "classier"? Which is more "pro"? (Which is easier?)

Talk to me. I'm losing valuable sleep over this.

(I'm waiting on a fork so actually I have time to decide.)
