nice-

I have heard rumor that Vittoria is bring out a 25c tire this year- anyone else heard that???

kinda spendy for a clincher but I bet they are real nice. I've been riding the new evo cx tubie, available for about $50 and they are excellent tires. I'd love to see them with a little more volume, like the great old italian CX/CG, which I still have a pair of mounted on some nucs.

I've got a set of both the green tubular and the new clincher's. That price is for a pair of tires and so far the ride is superior to the conti 25's I put on the merckx. If they are as durable as the green version has been for me I'll be very happy. I've heard they may become a regular edition but so far these make a nice addition to the over 21 but under 28 clincher selection. A shot of what they look like can be found here (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showpost.php?p=328444&postcount=27) .Frank

nice work Jason!

Yes, the standard black open corsa evo cx is now available in 25mm,
those recently arrived.

I tried to order some LTD's for our shop, but Canada got a whopping 50 pair
for the entire country, and since my rep was asleep at the switch, we got
nada. Vittoria may do another run, the first batch sold out real quick,
anyone interested in those LTD's should act fast.

Now if they'd do a bunch in natural tan sidewall, i'd be really happy!

I've got a set of the green evo pave tubulars (25) --nice tires and they've held up very well. Some of the evo corsa models are available in 23, but I typically see narrower ones.

Yes, they are now the fastest tires that Bicycle Quarterly have tested since the Deda Tre Giro d'Italia are NLA.

Anyone know where you can get a set of the Corsa Evo CX in 700x25? I've yet to actually see them online anywhere.

I got them from Bike Mine, the distributer for the US. Have your LBS contact them. I've worn out two pair this summer, they are nice.

Anyone have a source for the Vittoria EVO CX in 23mm? ProBikeKit doesn't seem to have them.

If I had a choice between a black pair of Pave Evo CG 24 or Corsa Evo CX 25 for about the same money, can anyone reccommend which is the better tyre? They would be used for all-round riding on slightly less than optimal road surfaces, and I'm aiming for comfort.

Pave, they are much more durable on less than ideal surfaces.

Go with the Pave. The casing is 50% Kevlar/50% Polycotton and super durable. I've picked glass out of the tread of one of my Paves. The glass went all the way through the tread, but no further.
