I think its really effing amazing that Thurlow, Tilford, and Moninger are out there at Redlands (*all over forty). Shoot... Thurlow won it in 1985... and its 2007 and he's out there doing his thing...

that dude can suffer like no one i've ever seen. he can ride me off his wheel in a flat crit. i can't imagine what he was like 20 years ago.

Swoop don't feel bad he can ride most people (at least Masters) off his wheel.... He is amazing! 20 years ago he could still ride us all off his wheel.

Thurlow looks much older than his age. So does John Howard. My theory is that the faster you are, the older it makes you look :D

Every time I see John Howard I'm reminded of those old talking trees in the Lord of the Rings movies. Dude is tall and wrinkly....
