With 6 inches left on the ground, we should hit 60 by the weekend!! Ye Haw! Now I just need to make sure that I wear dark shades for a while so I don't blind myself when I look at my arms and legs.

Things lookin' up for y'all?

I hope you're right!

Last tuesday after work, (daylight savings early = good!)
I rode in knickers, with a long sleeve J with a vest, it was +18'C

By morning on wednesday, it was -18'C, and by friday night, we had
about 10cm of fresh snow. Crazy springtime! But it's forcast to be back
to +15 by thursday, whooo hooo!

it was 50 here yesterday so I went out on my favorite 50 mi loop, but I had the flu, hacked my guts out and it wasn't too fun.

I had pulled the studded Nokians off the commutocross when it got warm last week but fortunately put them back on last night.

Hit a few ice/snow patches on the way to work today; nothing too terrible.
Rode home around 1700 today in a driving snow, with all the roads snow covered. I had a blast! And that's saying something because I've never ridden a bike so slowly in my life. Feels like pedaling an M1 tank with the studded tires, heavy battery pack, heavy clothes and messenger bag. But it will make the road bikes feel so much sweeter when we finally thaw.

75 and sunny yesterday and today.

In my experience, that means the East usually gets some similar pressure change about 3 days later. So, tomorrow and Wednesday should be better for you folk.

YMMV

Serious snow squalls yesterday evening - I had trouble pulling the car up the driveway.

This morning, the sun's shining and there's no trace of last night's snow. Now we just need to work on the other 5 inches...

The next few days are looking up.
