What are your favorite internet sources for national/world news? I've become disillusioned with news paper and TV.

I like the BBS and European sites...I also look at Wall Street Journal, NY Times, and Wahington Post. I think each site, just as if they are individuals, have a different "flavor" or things happening around the world. Some of out US sites seem to the focused on what is "politically correct" more so than the facts.

I subscribe to the NY Times online and particularly like the editorial content even if I don't agree with a lot of it. Financial news I get from Real Money and Bill Fleckenstein (both are pay sites).

A friend has a new net site with a different approach to delivering news. They set you up to link to many, many sources to get news on particular events. It's www. daylife dot com. Give it a shot! I find it very interesting to read the linked articles from newspapers around the world.

And the Serotta Forum is where I blow most of my net browsing time. But you already knew that.

+1.

I rather watch ESPN and read ESPN.COM

BTW, does that guy Gary Walters know any Syracuse basketball? :crap:

I'd say

about 80% from: http://www.nytimes.com/

about 15% from: http://news.bbc.co.uk/

and 5% from: http://www.lemonde.fr/

I used to also check out CNN, but got tired of all the fluff and tabloid stuff there, so I've removed them from my Favorites list.
