Shimano VS Sram !0 Spd Chains

I use Sram 971 chains on my 9 spd Shimano D/A bikes. They work great and I like the removable link feature. I need to replace a shimano 10spd D/A chain and I'm considering using a Sram 1070 10 spd chain. The problem is they are twice the price of Shimano D/A chains. I'm wondering if the Sram will last twice as long for the money. Any experience with this chain used on a Shimano D/A drivetrain?
