Funny look ARC pedals with "grip" on the backside

I rode Look pedals for ages, but never saw these before.

They look like regular Look road pedals, but with hard plastic grip on one side.

What are they? The original commuter pedal? Cyclocross solution??

We have a Peloton with something similar, though not branded Look, they have a textured plastic piece on the back.

Tons of spin bikes used Look style pedals for years, I wonder if it's a Look branded, spin bike pedal.

I don't think so. These are too teeth-y and small.

If I remember correctly these were actually intended as MTB pedals (can you imagine?), MP-90 was the (or one of the) designations.
