My 2 year-old Ottrott sports a Ritchey Pro stem and Syntace aerobar. There is rust on the steel bolts for both (see pic).

The Ritchey Pro has 6 x 5mm hex bolts x 20 mm (measured from bottom of bolt head to end of bolt -- is this correct or should I include the height of the bolt head?) and the Syntace uses 4 x 5mm hex x 16 mm bolts.

While it's primarily a cosmetic concern, I'd like recommendations for a long-term solution (including a source for replacement bolts if possible). Should I purchase titanium bolts (~$56 from SRP) or should I be looking for better stainless steel replacements for the OEM bolts (that won't rust)?

[sorry if this duplicates a previous discussion, I tried searching.]

Pull the bolts and bring them to your local Ace hardware store. You'll drop about 40 cents each for stainless bolts and you'll be good to go.

Since I'm in Germany I sent an order to loosescrews. Looks like $20 including 10 bolts, washers, and shipping. Titanium next if these rust. Thanks.
