Steve Hampsten (a very cool guy) made me aware of this. Thanks!

OK

According to Roland, these hats were made by the same company, in the same way, to the same specs as the hats he ordered from them way back in the day. Plus, at five bucks a pop it was the deal of the show!

If you're referring to the seatpost, Kent told me 'about' 20MM. 'About' because they're hand bent, but he said he could make one pretty much with any setback that you wanted. Because the clamp is somewhat narrower than on other posts, there is more for/aft adjustment, which is the hot ticket for us with Brooks saddles. :)

Dave,

Congrats on a beautiful post! Even better than the looks of that post is the way it looks on that bike. Congrats! It looks like it was custom made for that bike by Spectrum.

Price depends on the length, but they're 180ish.

Keep the Spectrum under lock and key Dave. Too Tall recommended that I search for a previously owned TK bike and it looks like there's one in your garage.

Nice bike and post!

I bought three things at the NAHBS:
an Eriksen seatpost with blue caps and two Paragon Ti bottle openers.

The funny thing is I don't yet have the rest of the bike the post might be for.

What to do, what to do...

Very nice post Dave and it looks perfect on your Spectrum.

I was oh so close to getting a post myself-wish I had now. :crap:
