How to search ebay for previous sales

I was wondering if there is a way to search ebay for previous sales of an item to estimate values? Any ideas?

On the left side of the screen there are "Search Options", including "Completed listings".
Click that box after searching for whatever item you are interested in.
These are only listed for 30 days now. They used to be listed for 90 days, which was much better for the exact purpose you describe....

you could click the completed items button


now you have to log in first

then you are able to go to search/advanced option/completed items
