I picked these up recently from the original owner, but I'm going another direction on the build I had earmarked for these. The brake tracks have never had a pad on them, but they were on a bike on the shop floor and have some minor shop wear: a couple of small scuffs on the spokes (photos to follow).
If you want to murder it out, these with their matte finish and excellent all conditions ceramic track would be hard to beat. They are absolutely beautiful wheels, with the 240 hubs. 11 speed shimano FHB. This set is the 21mm rim height version. Includes all original manuals, DT tubeless kit with valves and filler, the special DT Swiss Stop pads, and a DT Oxic cycling cap. No skewers.
$650 net plus shipping. I have a good wheel box.

Is it possible to swap back and forth between these and regular silver wheel track wheels without swapping pads? I have the non Oxic version of these and looking for a second wheel set.

The pads have a label on them that says, “only use this brake pads for DT Swiss Oxic wheels”

I would venture to guess once you put the oxic on your bike will look so much better they will never come off. My shamal mille and mavic r--sys SLR look better and brake way better than their silver track equals.

generally speaking, using a regular pad meant for the traditional silver aluminum rim track on a PEO / keronite rime like the oxic will result in faster pad wear. this is why there are "special" pad supplied
One would think that DT Swiss, Campagnolo PEO and Mavic exalith pads would all work

Dang... Heck of a deal on these! I paid $200 more when I bought mine!
Regarding pads, don't swap wheels back and forth... Inevitably you'll get little bits of aluminum stuck in your pads from your plain tracked wheels, then you'll scratch the braking surface of these up with said bits. I'm using SwissStop BXP pads on mine and they look brand new with a few hundred miles on them, and some gnarly descents. These wheels don't feel "fast" in the same way that some 50mm deep carbon wheels do, but they are smooth, sound great, and climb like hell!
For whomever scoops these up, if you're looking for the matching, special edition matte black DT RWS Titanium skewers(90g set), shout my way!
I’ve owned these and love them. I almost want to find a project to justify these ...

They’re great wheels, best rim brake wheels I’ve owned
I sold two pairs of these. One for a song.
Now I want to buy yours just because they look and ride so good.
Keep it!

Thanks for the messages. After not getting too much interest initially, I decided to hold onto them for my incoming custom. FYI last I heard, was a week ago OP said he was keeping them. I ended up getting a pair from Merlin.

I know that bike goods coming from the UK are (I assume this is still current after Brexit) tax exempt up to $800. Those wheels are $856 or so, is the rule that you pay taxes on what is over $800, or is the entire amount now subject to taxes. Vincenz, are you in the US? Did you have to deal with any import fees?

Not a bad choice! I hemmed and hawed about Shamal Milles until they were no longer available and still kind of kick myself over it from time to time, but it works out as these are a better choice in terms of looks for what I’m going for. I had only recently found out about them.

In my years of buying bike goods from overseas I’ve ever only been charged duty ONCE for stuff over $800 and it was on the entire amount. The wheels are slated to deliver on Monday so I’ll find out how my luck holds up.. So far no bill or anything from FedEx yet, though I had to fill out an import form for it to clear customs. Never had to do that before buying from a UK retailer, but apparently, Merlin didn’t do it this time so I had to.

does ceramic brake better than alloy or is it just a way to compensate for the look while being inferior than shiny alloy?
Since custom duties were mentioned, I should add my experience.
1. Whenever I ordered from Merlin (pre-covid) for amounts ranging from $200 - $2000, Merlin always used USPS and I was never changed any custom duties. I have yet to order from Merlin during covid times, so, I am uncertain what the scenario currently is.
2. I have ordered from r2bike (in germany? belgium?). they shipped using DHL. I was charged custom duties for the amount exceeding $800. But the amount charged was always a lot more than what the custom code said. Upon bringing it up with the broker, it seemed to me that they really do not care and just put some tariff code on it. I found it was no use arguing with them and I ended up paying. In the end even if they did listen to me, I would have saved $50 or so. So, I never bothered too much with it and factored this expenditure while placing an order overseas.
3. I have also paid custom duties on stuff from ciclicorsa and shipped via FedEx/DHL.
What I am trying to say? You may pay customs. And you may not. But in my experience, I have almost always paid custom duties on $800+ goods when they were shipped suing DHL and FedEx.

DHL and FedEx charges are for duties as well their internal processing fees since they’re private companies.
But with the current intl shipping situation the extra 10% or so spend on fees could be worth it vs waiting months for arrival.

Bumping these. For sale again. They have gotten more expensive since I posted this in Spring. Merlin is now charging $984 USD for them exclusive of any customs or duties.
