I have used the Vittoria Open Corsa EVO-CX. I have also used the Vittoria Open Corsa EVO-KX, and have seen the Vittoria Open Corsa EVO-KS. A little about the tires:

Open Corsa EVO-CX: A direct replacement for the older Open Corsa CX. The EVO model is suppose to give both better durability and puncture resistance than the older model. It has a PBS (puncture resistant belt). The Open Corsa EVO-CX comes in two sizes 700x20 and 700x23. The 700x23 weighs 230 grams, per Vittoria.

Open Corsa EVO-KS: Basically the same tire as the CX, but it is a slick tire. Same sizes and weights as above.

Open Corsa EVO KX: It differs from the above two tires as it has a perceptively thicker center section and a much more aggressive sidewall tread. Vittoria claims the weight is 230 grams for the 700x23 size, but I doubt it, as it definitely has a thicker center section as stated above. I have read that it is actually 245 grams.

I found that both the Open Corsa EVO-KX and the Open Corsa-CX to give an excellent combination of supple feel, excellent handling, road adherence, reasonable puncture resistance, and reasonable durability (not great). I chose the Open Corsa-KX because if its thicker center tread.

The Open Corsa EVO KX was my tire of choice until I switched to 700x25 tires. The Veloflex Pave tire was probably more supple than the above, but it is a 700x22 tire, very thin, and cuts much easier.

Overall, the Open Corsa EVO series tires are excellent, but I just like the 700x25 tires decidedly better. There is another tire in the EVO series- Open Pave EVO CG. It is an all year round tire designed for all road and weather conditions. It comes in 700x24 and not in 700x23.

i used those. they felt a bit stickier than the diamantes i normally use. they wore out fast and sliced easily. otherwise they were good.

I used to use 140f and 145r in my Vittoria tires. I then started lowering the psi until I reached 115f and 120r. Much fewer cuts and probably better durability. I now use 95f and 105r on my 700x25 tires (Continental). They are almos totally void of even very small cuts, after 1500 miles and have a great deal of wear left, especially the front (of coure).

I remember hearing that before. I would have tried them for sure. But I like the Continental GP 4000 700x25 tires so much that I don't think that I will even try them when they do arrive.

+1 for the Open Corsa EVO CX

Rides great - very smooth, confident cornering. Definitely wears faster than other tires. imho the 700x23 size "feels" larger than other 23s (e.g., Vred TriComp, my other favorite). I just wish they were available for a bit less, but no one really discounts them. Thinking of trying the Rubino Pro, though I imagine with the lower TPI casing it won't be quite as supple.

Check out Bike Pro Kit for Vittoria EVO Corsa CX White tread for $31.91 with free shipping. I'm not a fan of white tread, but the price is right for me so I ordered 6 of them. I'll learn to like white.
