I happen to be looking at rims on the Yellow Jersey site and saw their offering of a Panasonic touring frame, fork, HS, racks, fenders, frame couplers... all for $795. But wait, there's more... (just kidding).

I am sure it is a tank, but it looks cool to me and would certainly be in the budget this summer.
Anybody ride one of these?

Cheers,
TEd.

I've heard good comments about Panasonic quality. The geos and sizes on that frame looked a bit strange to me-=--54cm the largest? I know it's a sloper but I still couldn't understand what the virtual tt measurement is.

No experience, but that is very interesting and a great deal imo. Too bad the size chart maxes out at 53. What gives?

I don't doubt that the frame is top quality. Rivendell gets their Quickbeam made by Panasonic, the frames from the 80's were great, and I occassionally see professional track frames out of Japan bearing the Panasonic name.
