Hi

I have a pair of the older style red Mavic Heliums wheels (not the new Ksyrium ES Heliums), dating back to around about model year 1999-2000.

They have a shimano compatible spline on the freehub. I'm guessing, but I think its probably the freehub designated 'M9'. Is it possible with the older style Heliums to remove the freehub and replace it with the new 'M10' freehub body?

Cheers

IIRC, that's all use can use.

Mavic still has them in stock. Your LBS can order one, if you need it.

The folks in Haverhill still support the Helium, or at least they did this past fall. Got a new rim and a few backup spokes then.
