But seriously, this is a pretty significant blow to Toyota's entry into NASCAR.

Having your premier team involved in something like this can't be sitting well back in the land of the rising sun.

Unless it was an idea their own factory engineers cooked up.

If Toyota is going to run whiskey cars they better learn to cheat better.
Fuel additives, that is amateur hour stuff.

Years ago one of the teams raced a 7/8ths scale version of one of their cars to get an aero advantage, now that is cheating on a grand scale.

This thing is spreading faster than Operation Puerto.

I believe 5 crew chiefs have been fined or suspended, one team manager hass been fined and suspended.

Waltrip has been penalized as an owner and a driver and there is a big storm brewing with his sponsors. All his major sponsors (Toyota, NAPA Auto Parts, Domino's Pizza) have issued statements denouncing the infraction.

Plus NASCAR confiscated THE WHOLE CAR.

He might show up at race #2 with a plain blue car.....

The bottom line to me is if cycling behaved like NASCAR it would be much better off. Justice is decisive and swift, and usually pretty harsh.

It doesn't stop some from trying, but it sure makes it hurt when you get caught.
