Posting this for a buddy who isn't on Paceline. Bike is located in Charlottesville, VA. Happy to connect anyone who is interested directly to the buyer. Beautiful bike that I helped him buy originally and would add to my own stable if I lived closer and/or had the funds right now. Really beautiful frame.....those welds are ridiculous!!

Details below:

Beautiful Eddy Merckx Millenium 3 titanium frame, very nicely appointed with Ultegra 9 speed and other choice components from that era. The frame is Litespeed titanium and one of their rare offerings: a mix of 6/4 and 3/2.5, with Merckx dropouts. This mix of titanium was also offered on the Litespeed Ultimate, their highest end model of the time. "Eddy Merckx" panel down tube decals removed many years ago and has been in storage for nearly 20yrs. Overall the bike is in very good condition with signs of storage wear, but mostly just storage grime to clean off.

Geometry: 61cm seat tube, 58.6 top tube, 18cm headtube. Merckx geometry for a stable, fast ride.

Components:
Reynolds Ouzo Pro fork w/1 1/8th steerer
Cane Creek Headset
Ultegra 9spd groupset in good condition. Good shape, not perfect but certainly better shape than most of this age. Cranks are 172.5, 53x39, 12x26 cassette, Dura Ace bottom bracket. See pics for wear on shifters (right has more than left); cranks are in great shape, rear der has a few minor scrapes, brakes are very clean/great shape
Elite Ciussi Inox bottle cages
Deda Magic stem and bars
Sette7 APX carbon seatpost
Selle Italia Pro Link gel w/carbon rails
Spinergy SR-3 clinchers (rear wheel has a clicking noise and should be serviced)
Maxxis Detonator 700x23 tires. Pics show room under the brake bridges, so I expect 25's to fit easily, and possibly even 27/28 on the rear, but he hasn't tried different tire size.

Price: $1400 OBO, plus shipping/fees to your location from VA (expect +/- $125 via BikeFlights)

pics coming shortly.

I bet 28mm GP5Ks fit on that. When I see the pad carriers middle to low in the slots like that, usually will.

I dunno though, that DT looks a little wimpy. Not!

The Aero Ouzo I have laying about look great with the skinny little DT. ;)

haha, yes, these were known to be nice and stout for the powerful riders!

I think 28s might fit too, just hard to say without having the next size down to compare.

Doesn't millenium need n+1?

Beefy to the point of making you look and wonder it it is a 1" HT or 1-1/8".

I'd nibble at that if I did not have a Ti Super Spectrum. One of the better Clyde Merckx geometries if you wuz to ask me... [owner of a 90s Corsa]

Pretty sure it’s C-C, so 63cm C-T. Matches Merckx Century geo

just drop the saddle a little......if the top tube and head tube work. If you want to get low, find some deep drop bars (do they still make those?).

Cheers!
