Anyone do this combo? Does the elkhide stretch enough to accomodate two cables underneath? Pics would be great!

I'm in the process of updating my old Bianchi and trying to infuse some class.

I recently posted a similar question. The answer is yes and pics are included in the thread below:

I followed the other thread, but I still have not seen any photos of
campy shifters with two sets of cables under the tape.

Anyone run them two in front, or 1 in the front and 1 in back?
I guess it would depend on the style of grooves on the handlebar.

True dat, Grant... and I'll be running Nitto 176's so those cables have to go somewhere.

sometimes a groovy bar has no grooves...

(rode my 176 bar this morning, but it was to work,
not to the tavern!)

The bars on my Tournesol are 176. I had no problems 'stretching' the elkhide to cover the brake cable even though I used an underwrap to slightly increase the bar diameter to my liking. The way the elkhide is 'stitched' together, with two pieces of thread and two needles from opposite directions, makes it easy to bring both edges of the elkhide together over any cabling.

You might e-mail Chris at Velo Orange directly for the definitive answer.
