HED Belgium/Chris King/SON28 wheelset + Edelux II light, Busch and Mueller taillight, accessories.

I picked this up from Norcal from a guy who got injured and never built this up. With no immediate touring or commute plans, I've decided to keep my current wheelset. For those of you unfamiliar, the SON28 is the best power-generating Dynamo hub money can buy, allowing you to charge lights and a phone while riding long distances.

Chris King black rear hub with brand new, never-seen-a-chain Ultegra 8000 11-32 cassette

SON28 black front hub (still has some plastic on it from factory to peel off)

Edelux 2 headlight, silver with switch/sensor and standlight (keeps light illuminated even when stopped), $180 new

The Plug Cinq5 USB stem charger ($180 new)

Busch and Mueller taillight

Various cables etc. still in packaging.

Generic skewers

Continental GP5000 25c tires, mounted with tubes but unridden.

This whole setup was built by Studio Velo Cycles in Mill Valley, CA and cost somewhere in the $1600 range for all the parts and accessories. All original packaging for the small parts.

There are some minor scratches here and there on the wheelset from storage, but these wheels have never seen the road.

Great deal on an awesome, ready-to-go package. All the little things like the Schmidt coaxial are covered! I'd be all over this, except I already have that front wheel combo on my road brevet bike in 28H, with a matching rim in the bin to build up a new rear wheel later. It's a shame they seem to be phasing out the rim brake version. Plus the Edelux II is my favorite light! Nice that we share the same dreams...

I'm running this exact light/hub combo on my commuter/bikepacking rig and can attest to their awesomeness.
