All,

I am looking for a good pair of training wheels for my new Meivici tri bike. I want a pair of wheels that will perform well when training, since this is how I ride the bike most often. For racing I have a set of Zipp 909s.

I was curious as to whether I should go with the Hed Jet 50s or Flashpoint 60s?

Any thoughts?

Neal

I would think either would work well but I would go with the HED wheels seeing they are 50 mm deep which could be better in windy conditions. I have FP 40's for everyday use. I am 88-90 kg and after over 1000 k's they have not skipped a beat, still perfectly true after a few whacks to test them out.

If you have the FP 40s why would you recomend the Heds?

Because HEDs are 50 mm deep vs 60 mm for the FP's and I would have thought 50 mm is better for training in windy conditions. Mentioned that I have 40 mm FP's just to say that if you wanted to go with either FP my FP wheels have been good so far.
