i rarely, ever?, see pinstriping on a bike. for a while i have been thinking about a white bike with a black stripes. i think a pink bike with white stripes could be hot.

Robert,

Is it going to be wet paint or powder? It matters with lugs. At least to me.

FatRo-sensei,

I've got both the yellow with white and the white with blue - both posted around here somewhere. Go with the yellow/white (white saddle and tape). The novelty of pink will fade in about a week.

White with blue panels would be best. Blue with white is also good.

Here's a white bike with grey-blue panels, and orange lettering. It kinda works, atmo:

i'm rollin wet paint on this one, cpg

i initially chose bianchi/swimming pool blue with the white head tube and the white seat tube pnel, but, you know, I have some waffle time.

the hard choice is that I'm a conservative paint guy, but paul sadoff's graphics and vibe are a little cooler than that...so I need to pick something that will go with the lobster gestalt and my laid-back tastes...which is why i'm thinking swimming pool blue/white HT and single panel.

if you are really looking to step outside the box (or get back into it since with all the stepping outside the box, who is really left in it these days) you could go crazy and just paint every tube a different color. done poorly that would be super nasty, but done properly, i think it would be fun

I loved the paint scheme on 11.4's Spectrum road...white w/ yellow head tube and fork crown:

Powder tends to get a little thick on lugs. It sort of rounds of lug edges. No big deal functionally. Just aesthetically. Although I did recently have a frame repainted with powder from Spectrum. Very impressive. Still a little thick on lugs.

Robert- Blue is the new red. I say swimming pool blue metallic (fine grained so it doesn't look like a bass boat)not solid with white panel and head tube. Not cream either. White. Maybe even throw on a platimum pearl in the clear just to light it up.
