Yet another auction for a purported Serotta fork, this time an F2.
Several things raise red flags for me: Aluminum dropouts; I believe genuine Serotta F2 forks have only Ti dropouts. Metal steer tube; I believe F2 fork had carbon steer tubes. The 'seam' in the carbon on the outside of the legs; this wasn't evident on F2 forks that I've seen. And lastly, the sellers statement that he got this as an 'overstock' sounds reminiscent of the last infamous "Serotta" fork on eBay.
