the steel and ti were both in the 2000 catalog as entry level models in each material. No Colorado Concept tubes, as I recall.

it was/is tapered, swaged and manipulated for max performance. Classiques were regular 853--still good stuff but obviously a lot cheaper to make with less tuning potential.
