It makes perfect sense though it seems to me. I did not realize that the platform was that popular. I just hope that one day they don't require Zwift hardware. I like my smart rollers.

Everyone figured this was coming.

I hope they don't lock down the environment and give preference to their own trainer setup. Things like this being 'open access' so to speak (even though not really) is really great for making just about everything better.

If they can take on wahoo for hardware that's going to be interesting, but I have a feeling that Wahoo has the capital to shut things down and create their own ecosystem or buy up a competitor that has something in the works like many do right.
