very excellent!

You got 95% of "the best bike in the world" right there. The extra 5% will cost you an additional $10k, probably not worth it. :p

Old Serotta catalogs said Atlanta was 85% of the ride of a CSi for 65% of the price. I think one of the Serotta builders once said the difference was greater in smaller frames because a CSi was allowed to use some especially lighter tubes that helped save a little weight vs. those available for Atlantas. Larger frames usually couldn't use these extra-light tubes so a 60cm Atlanta was closer to a 60cm CSi but there was a bigger difference in 52cm frames. I know this is a broad generalization and I have no idea at what size the differences changed. I know that I owned a CSi and rode a couple of Atlantas and liked them all in 58-60cm sizes. BTW I also was very impressed with a borrowed Rapid Tour too.

Very nice. Shades of blue have usually been my favorite color for bikes. Ironically, none of the 8 bikes I have are blue. A lot to be said for getting a real nice frame for low cost, then building it up yourself. Congrats.

Very nice build. I've been on the look out for a Serotta for a while now. Waiting on the right size and price to pop up. How do you like the Wound up fork on it?

I've wanted one of those since I figured out who Davis Phinney was.
