Will SL6 seatpost fit in SL7 Tarmac?

I cant seem to find any information on this, hoping someone can help me out as I'm trying help a friend of mine with their SL7 Tarmac.

Will the SL6 tarmac seatpost fit into the new SL7 frame? I know its a new design at the clamp, but curious if it is the same shape and diameter at the frame insertion.

I don't believe so, it's bigger (length wise) than the D shaped SL6.
