10-speed Quick Link on 9-speed chain

Can someone tell me a KMC 10-speed Quick Link can be used on a Shimano 9-speed chain without problem? Trying to save myself a trip to LBS.

The nine speed chain is wider. You may have trouble getting the narrower 10 speed link on.

If the quick link is Campy it might, otherwise no.
