Mine was tucked behind the tcu and held in place with zip ties.

There was a junction B down by the motor in a location which makes absolutely no sense.

interestingly when i switched handlebars yesterday i found my bike had an extra di2 wire stuck in the handlebars not going anywhere. left shifter does not shift anything due to being a 1x drive train. my guess is they buy full kits and don't know what to do with the extra parts so stuff them in all the di2 bikes regardless of 1x or 2x.

That's weird!

You can plug the left shifter in and re-map the buttons in eTube so that both left shifter buttons give you an easier gear and both right shifter buttons give you a harder gear.

You'll need to unplug the mountain bike rear derailleur before you connect to eTube and then select the "road" option.

On my bike (https://cyclingtips.com/2020/06/bikes-of-the-bunch-specialized-creo-superpunteur/) I re-did all the Di2 wiring - here is a full diagram (https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1v7D6Vuwr_wciTPJZ8bSK5tFortkSTJFbV0hY7RRS8e8/edit) if you want some ideas.

and no issue with shifting up and down the cassette with the right hand shifter. just want to know where the di2 battery is located.
