Yakima rack. I have crossbars I use on my pickup truck bed rails in the spring summer and fall. The winter it gets removed. The coating, what appears to be a rubber/plastic material, started to split. I have had these for 4 to 5 years. I took pictures and sent them to Yakima customer service explaining I no longer had a receipt and understood the warranty but was curious if this problem was common. Within a very short period of time I had a reply stating no that this was not a common problem (of course) they apologized for the problem and there would be a new set of crossbars sent out the next day. I've had a Yakima rack since the 80's and after this I'll keep having Yakima products. :beer:

I have had the exact opposite response from Thule, basically just an email shrug for a response, so they lost my business after being a customer for 20+ years. Good to know another major rack company cares about their products and customers.
