With air quality in the Willamette Valley well into the hazardous range, it looks like I'll have another indoor day. So as any good bike nerd would do, I'm pondering bike modifications. I really like my BMC Monstercross, but I thinking about changing the very stout steel fork for a carbon fork. I'd shed some weight, maybe improve the already nice ride, and allow for a cable disc brake.
Has anyone made this switch? If so, what fork did you choose?
